The publication “Children, work, difficult joints. In Bologna parents’ “time banking” was shared by the Corriere di Bologna (Corriere della Sera) on the 10th of May 2018.
Bologna as a pilot city for Families_Share european project: families in need give mutual help in organizing self-managed childcare. The project also introduces a web platform to facilitate sharing childcare between parents through technological tools.

The first Families_Share event took place on 19 May 2018: parents’ needs were investigated through a focus group, with the support of MammaBo and Dadamà associations.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, in May 2019, the co-founders of MammaBo group reflected about motherhood and work/time balance in their lives. They talk about the “birthday kit” of MammaBo as well as the new Families Share project.
The region of Emilia Romagna, the Municipality of Bologna as well as the Open group cooperative ( a Social cooperative involved in cultural inclusion, innovation and empowerment), have provided endorsement letters to the project and the project activities, expressing their interest and support, due to the alignment of Families_Share with the urban and local policies in supporting families and childcare throughout ICT and good practices of mutual help.
