Trento is a medium-sized Italian city of approximately 116,000 inhabitants, located in Trentino-Alto Adige. It is a lively, cosmopolitan city, with highly developed and organised modern social services. The city is committed to combining smart development and innovation with its valuable historical and cultural heritage. The local economy is characterised by a modern service sector and by consolidated public–private partnerships, illustrated by the presence of a high-ranking university and various excellent research centres.
The local implementation process will be steered by FBK, one of main members of the Family District consortium. Famiglia Cooperativa and Kaleidoscopio will also actively participate in the process with other organizations of the Family District. The Families_Share platform will enable the network of organisations within the Family District to share competences, best practices and initiatives among their employees.
