Families_share joins CAPSSI

Launched in January, the Families_Share project has recently joined the Collective Awareness Platforms for Sustainability and Social Innovation (CAPSSI) initiative.

The initiative designs and pilots online platforms, creates awareness of sustainability problems and offers collaborative solutions based on innovative networks of people, ideas, services and technologies, enabling new forms of social innovation. It supports environmentally aware efforts, grassroots processes and practices for sharing knowledge, achieving changes in lifestyle, production and consumption patterns, and setting up more participatory democratic processes on a pan-European scale.

Partners in the Families_Share have participated in two teleconferences of the CAPSSI community, basic project information has been added to its web platform. Discussions covered tasks related to the platform’s coordinated visibility efforts and its contribution to a range of events, such as the “Connected Technologies for Social Good” workshop, held in Brussels.
