Families_Share at the ICT 2018 Event in Austria

The Families_Share project was present at the ICT 2018 that was held on the 6th of December in Austria.
The project was presented at the session “Tech for everyone, by everyone: citizen-centred digital innovation for good.” organised by Nesta.

Participants have been hearing quickfire talks from a range of projects who are using citizen-centred digital innovation to tackle social challenges, including projects funded under H2020’s Collective Awareness Platforms for Sustainability (CAPS) programme and the Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative.

During the session, our Families_Share partners had the opportunity to meet representatives from other relevant projects, share opinions and ideas about human-centred digital innovation, and build new relationships with people with common interests across Europe. The session was fast-paced, informative and exciting.

Participants were informed of the project’s narrative and objectives, as well as about the functionalities of the Families_Share application which will soon be available for piloting.

A fruitful discussion was conducted on the functionalities, the future possibilities and the actual change that such an application could trigger to the lives of parents and families.
