European Researchers Night 2018 – Trento (Italy), 28 September 2018

An information corner dedicated to Families_Share has been set up at the MUSE, the Science Museum in Trento, during the European Researchers Night 2018. The “corner” was open during the event from 5 pm to 11 pm to present Families_Share, involving children and parents in discussing the project goals and objectives before the beginning of the first pilot.

During the event, CityLab partners presented the Families_Share scenario describing the approach and collecting feedback both from parents and children. They distributed a short survey to parents to assess the perceived value of collaborative approaches to tackle Work-Life Balance issues, and the barriers participants perceive in the actual provision of childcare services. Project partners engaged children through drawing activities, asking them to draw something with their parents related to the project.

Participants (engaged) estimated number and type: About 300 citizens living in Trento area.

Results:  Inform citizens about Families Share goals and approach, collect feedback on collaborative childcare, and on work-life balance issues, collect email addresses of interested families.
